ABOVE AND BEYOND CLASSES - Spring Session 2010

Registration Dates:
Registration will be via e-mail and telephone only. Registration will begin at 9:00 am on Wednesday, March 24th and run through Thursday, March 25th. ALL CLASSES WILL BE CHOSEN THROUGH A LOTTERY PROCESS. Any E-mail or telephone calls made before this time WILL BE DENIED.

Registration Details:
When you have made your choice(s), click on the email address of the contact for the class. Please enter your child's name, class choice, grade and teacher. If you do not have access to the internet, please telephone the coordinator. (If your child wants to sign up for 2 or more classes, you must contact each coordinator). You will receive an e-mail or telephone confirmation from the coordinator of your class choice. If you do not receive a confirmation by Friday, March 26th, please telephone the coordinator IMMEDIATELY, as there may have been an email error and your child could be left out of the lottery process. You will be notified by Saturday, March 27th as to whether or not your child is enrolled in the class.You must confirm the placement of your child in each class by e-mail or telephone by Sunday, March 28th.

Classes meet once each week, 3:40-4:40 p.m. and will begin the week of April 5th. If classes are cancelled due to weather or teacher illness, the class will be extended for one week. Most classes run 6 weeks unless noted otherwise.

$72 Gym Hey Kindergarteners- this program is for you! We use sports and games to promote sharing, cooperation and fitness. Overtime Athletic instructors will lead the class in games like Cool Corner, Baby Bird Feeder, Red Light Green Light and more. A safe environment is created so children feel comfortable participating and exploring new activities, sports and games. This age specific program is a great introduction to athletics, teamwork and sportsmanship.

$65 Naiburg - Room #302 Come discover yoga with Mrs. Naiburg and Miss Yacoviello! We will teach developmentally appropriate yoga poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques. This class is open to beginner and intermediate students. A new component that we are adding to this class is storytelling! We will learn how to tell some of our favorite stories through yoga. Among its many benefits, yoga improves balance and coordination, increases flexibility and builds physical strength and confidence. Don’t forget to bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing! $60 Gym This will be a fun and exciting class that teaches the basics of health, sports, excercise and nutrition through sports themed games. Kids will learn the very basics of what it means to make healthy choices and all about sportsmanship and fair play. This class will also focus on age appropriate flexibility and core/balance strength as well as teaching them healthy and fun snack ideas.
