The Friday Flier/Tuesday Buzz is published weekly. The Flier's purpose is to inform Stratfield Families of school activities, educational opportunities, and other relevant information. The Tuesday Buzz is intended as a brief reminder for all upcoming events that week at Stratfield. Content for the flier must be Stratfield School, PTA, or educational related information.
See below for submission guidelines.If you are looking for a specific form, they are listed on the website in the forms section for easy access. If you have any questions or feedback about the flier, including ideas to help better it, please e-mail flier@stratfieldpta.org If you are not receiving your Friday Flier in your e-mail box, chances are it's being blocked or sorted by your e-mail software into your junkmail box. Please check there. The way to prevent this from happening (and to have it go directly into your inbox) is to add the e-mail address "flier@stratfieldpta.org" to your safe list. (usually under options) If you are planning on changing your e-mail address, please update with us so you don't miss out on any fliers. Simply click on the "update your information" link at the very bottom of the flier, and enter in your new e-mail address. Be sure to reply to the confirmation e-mail.
GUIDELINES FOR FRIDAY FLIER
All info must be submitted by Wednesday at 5 pm, to allow time for the flier to be assembled and approvals to be made by Mr. Pesce and the PTA presidents.
Committee Co-Chairs: Please select ONE person from your committee to be the communications person for blurbs and fliers to eliminate duplicate e-mails and confusion.
To submit a blurb or attachment:

Email them toflier@stratfieldpta.org by Wed 5 p.m. (Attachments need to be Word or PDF documents) Be sure to include your name and phone number. Please submit your information as you want it to appear, but realize that it may need to be edited. Up to four lines will appear directly in the flier e-mail. If there is too much information for that, the main information will appear in the e-mail flier with a clickable link to your info, along with event flier or sign-up form.

Your info will run the three Fridays prior to your event.

A one line reminder will be automatically included in theTuesday Buzz the week of your event. If your event falls on a Monday, the Friday Flier will highlight your event.

If your flier has a tear-off section, the tear-off portion needs to state the name of the event, so the office knows what it is for.
If your event or committee does not require payment, GO GREEN! Think about how families can respond without having to print a form for backpack mail. Suggestions:
Contact webmaster@stratfieldpta.org, to discuss posting signups on the web page (for example, Above & Beyond classes that are filled, volunteer slots that are open/filled, etc.) Consider using e-mail for responses. We can create a special e-mail address for your committee (for example, bingo@stratfieldpta.org or turnoffTV@stratfieldpta.org). This will keep e-mails about your event separate from your personal e-mail, and also allow multiple co-chairs to check the event e-mail. Contact flier@stratfieldpta.org to request a special e-mail for your event. If you don't have a blurb or attachment but still have information that you would like listed on this website about your committee, calendar events, etc; please e-mail it to webmaster@stratfieldpta.org
